Spam part II

For some reason I seem to have become popular with the spam bots. Not quite the crowd I was hoping for 🙂

It is not possible for me to keep deleting all spam until I have time to implement anti-spam measures. It is on my to-do list but other (more pressing) matters have priority. Should you have any good suggestions about anti-spam measures on WordPress, let me know!

So.. This blog ain’t dead or unmoderated, just temporarily overrun 🙂

  1. hm.. for some reason I think that james guy is spamming your blogpost with his link. :p

What I do to prevent spam. Create a new gmail (or use an existing one) account and forward any of my emails to it. Gmail will sort out what can be marked as spam and what not (once in a time check if the spam folder indeed contains ONLY spam mails). And if you use an email client, you can use POP or IMAP and fetch the emails on your gmail account (without the spam).

  2. ooooh wait..! You are talking about spam on your blog.

I was going to twitter you about askimet plugin but will just write it down here: INSTALL ASKIMET PLUGIN

    Saves a lot of headache
