Yesterday I read a blog post by Hannes Magnusson titled Unix Manual pages for PHP functions.
Unknowingly had Hannes done me a great favor by posting the exact instruction on installing pman, a commandline tool which acts as the unix man command. Every so often I am busy working and noticed how easy it would be to have such a Unix / Linux tool, unknowing that it already existed.
The installation as described on his blog (http://bjori.blogspot.com/2010/01/unix-manual-pages-for-php-functions.html) is a cake walk and thus I had no trouble getting it to work.
With this blog post I wish to thank him for this post and remind myself where to get the instructions. For those people who expected the installation instruction here, sorry! You really should visit Hannes’ blog for those.
Thank you for listening!

My pleasure ๐
These installation instructions will be on http://php.net/download-docs as soon as this format becomes “stable” (there are a couple of known issues) ๐
